The one Christmas tree farm I scouted today was the one we spoke about over the phone. It is off of highway 421. To get there, turn right onto Laurel Gap Ridge Rd (if you are coming up the mountain from the East). The farm itself is the most obvious landmark to find this road. Follow the road past the large red barn with the steep roof and a sharp left curve. After a quarter mile, turn off at the gate. There are two gates at this location: the old gate and it's replacement. The new gate is locked with a chain and padlock. I've included a picture of the gate in this gallery. The key is hanging from some stray wire near the left post on the old gate. It is not very well hidden and should be easy to find. Jerry Brown is my contact that gave me access to the farm. He said he may be out of town during the shoot but would get you in touch with his brother in-law who could help out.
